Dr. Ann Marie Navar is a cardiologist and epidemiologist. She focuses on the treatment and prevention of coronary artery disease, heart attacks, heart bypass surgery, heart stent and rhythm issues like atrial fibrillation, heart valve problems, or heart failure. Her research focuses on how to prevent heart attacks and strokes through targeted treatment of high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
She completed her MD at Duke and and her PhD and MHS at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed her fellowship and residency at Duke.
